I was thinking about why Marvel movie would built Loki as too depressed and heart broken to become a villain role.
As I know about Loki (the real Asgard God in Myth), how people build his story, is exactly the way he look the human, full of sadness and emotion.
It is hard to explain, the way Marvel build the role, I just don't really like it. Well, first reason, God has more noble and pure spirit when they are god even the mischief, even he meant to be evil, I still believe there is more meaningful reason to do it.
And I can see some in Avengers, but I guess no one bought the justification that he wants to bring human the true peace (which in his opinion).
Second reason, if Marvel built Asgradian as another alien, then don't call them god, because god and alien could be one thing but what they do cannot be contradiction. They called God because they have duty to Earth. If they just seeing Earth as another planet, then there is no reason to seen them as God.
Anyway, I just want to say, I see Marvel movies about Thor and Loki, I see a too human emotion story there, all of it. And the movie doesn't even want to discuss about Odin more then just put him to sleep.(lol) Wasn't that why Loki becoming like that because of him?
But the more I think, the less of options that this story can be. In the end, I guess we are just see our inside through the movie. Everything is about the human.
I am wondering, how many people love Marvel's movie about Loki and Thor and so on, and truly have the faith about North European Myth's God?
The story took the idea from Myth, but how many of them believe in those Gods?
I am not judging anyone or anything about the faith or belief, just wondering.
Personally, I belief in them, and I know they are all exists, just not the way Marvel said.=P
